Cava Tasting and Barbecue

Only 50 minutes from Barcelona you will find an ancient bodega, owned by two young men from families with long wine making traditions. During your experience you will be guided through the winery and will learn about the elaboration of cava. On arrival you will see the 50 acres of land surrounding the winery, of which 30 acres are vineyards. Partly restored in 2008, its owners´ primary objective was to keep it in its original state. You will visit the underground cave and the restored cellar-museum. In this ´museum´ you can still find old presses, barrels and an impressive collection of historical wines and cavas. A visit at a winery wouldn´t be complete without a cava tasting session, which is exactly what you will be experiencing next. You will learn to distinguish the subtle differences in flavor and smell of different cavas; whether you are a seasoned wine taster or an absolute beginner, this experience will be enjoyed by everyone! Your experience will be completed with a barbecue for the whole group!
