Dragon Boat Racing

Experience the newest and fastest growing water sport in the world! This package offers participants a chance to work together in an activity that requires excellent coordination, teamwork, skill and above all a desire to have fun.

The activity consists of a competition between 2 or more specially designed Dragon Boats. The participants, 8 to 10 per boat, will be required to row in time with the drumming executed by the drummer boy who each team needs to elect at the start of the event. The "drummer" controls the timing and speed of the boat. The most organised and efficient team always wins.

No previous experience is necessary as there will be a detailed event and safety briefing at the start. Before the main race begins, a simple warm up session and practice race is held. At the end of the race there is an awards ceremony where the winners will receive their medals.
