Your excursion will depart from Barcelona in an air-conditioned coach. Your first stop will be the Jean Leon winery where you will receive a guided tour around the vineyard, consisting of 100 acres of land. The varieties planted are Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Chardonnay. In the winery, where tradition is combined with the most modern winemaking techniques, you will enjoy the tasting of two wines. You will continue your trip to the Torres winery. This Penedès winery belongs to a centuries-old family company which is present in more than 140 countries where the Torres name is associated with some of the best wines in the world. Here, you will get to taste three wines and three cheeses. Final stop is the Freixenet´s Cavas. This family run company owns an ancient cava cellar reconstructed in 1922, where you will taste two cavas accompanied with an aperitif. Your guide will describe cava production process to you and after the visit, you will have the opportunity to buy as many fine wines as you please.
