Looking for a different twist to wine-tasting? Always wanted to understand the process behind the production and bottling of cava? We invite you to participate in a fun unique experience in a cava cellar just outside Barcelona.
Only 50 minutes from Barcelona you will find Spain´s first cava cellar in which its visitors can actually participate in the process of cava bottling! This experience was started in 2004 by two young entrepreneurs both from families with a long tradition of wine making. Their passion for cava production plus their will to share this with others resulted in a unique offering where their guests are able to blend and bottle their own personally selected cava.
On arrival at the vineyards, you will receive a guided tour around the winery during which you will receive an in depth explanation about the elaboration of cava. Next, you will taste some of the many different cava’s and based on your preferences you will choose some of your favourites to blend your very own personalised bottle of cava. You choice of cavas will be based on a combination of colors, tastes and textures that reflect your personality. After the experience, you will take home your own personalised bottle of cava.
