Wine Tasting for Two

This experience takes place in one of the best known wineries in Spain, which is set in the romantic wine region of the Penedes. You and your guest will be greeted by your personal guide who will introduce you to the world of the wine connoisseur. You will be given a full tour of the facilities which will include a walk through the "tunnel of seasons" specially designed to recreate the scents and the ambience of various wine growing conditions. Your guide will then take you to view the distilleries where you will observe the processes for making "red wines", "white wines" and "rose wines".

After the tour, you will be taken on a 2 hour wine tasting course where you will learn to appreciate the relationships between wines and different types of foods. When your initiation into wine tasting is complete you will be taken to the winery's privately owned restaurant, used exclusively for special guests and family. You will enjoy a delicious meal for two and as each dish is served with a carefully chosen wine you will have an opportunity to put into practise all the wine tasting techniques that you have learnt.
