Horseback Riding Tour
A restored 12th century, family run rural farmhouse will be your departure point. You will leave Barcelona early and arrive in the Girona province around mid-morning. On arrival, your instructors will be ready to introduce you to the fascinating world of horses.
Before mounting the horses, you will learn how to bridle, saddle, and prepare them, and also how to hold the reins correctly. You will then practice guiding the horses and keeping your balance, finally the moment of truth comes learning how to gallop.
Expert riders can improve their skills with their guides or they can practice around the property.
After the class you will have a delicious homemade lunch of typical Catalan dishes prepared by your hosts. Later in the afternoon, you will be able to practice everything you’ve learnt in the morning by going on a hiking tour for approximately 2 hours. Have no fear; the tour will be adapted to the level of each participant.

You are going to hike in the northeastern Catalan province of Girona. The area is home to abundant flora and fauna, one hundred year old oak trees, meadows and crystal clear rivers.
The price includes private transport, accompanying guide, water, cold drinks, snacks, activities and a typical Catalan lunch in a local restaurant.
