Cave Discovery

For a challenging and memorable Barcelona experience, let us take you on an underground cave adventure! Take a train to Vilafranca de Penédes, in the heart of Catalunya’s wine region, from there our expert will drive you to the ancient village of La Llacuna. (“The Lagoon.”) The guide will give you all the equipment you need before you set off on the short, uphill walk to the caves’ entrance. Once inside, you will negotiate a short series of wide and narrow tunnels, until you arrive at a well. Here, the guide will help you to climb down (about 5 metres high), using ropes and a small ladder. You can then proceed as far along the route as is comfortable, with a few surprises along the way. This experience guarantees a feeling of achievement and is finished off with a refreshing walk around the forest. A reasonable level of fitness is required and comfortable, flexible clothing a must.
